Angela Sileo holds a PhD in Humanities at Tor Vergata University (Rome), where she completed a I level Master’s degree in “Literary and Film Translation” in 2011. She is a post-doc research fellow at the University of Milan, her project is focused on EFL teaching and accessibility. She is also currently teaching English Language at the University of Milan – Bicocca (BA in “Interpreting and Translation in LIS and LIST”). She taught “English Language and Translation” at Sapienza University and at Tor Vergata University (Rome), where she taught History of Dubbing in Italy (Master’s Degree in AVT). She has been working as a translator since 2006 and has been a member of Tor Vergata’s register of translators and/or reviewers since 2017. In 2021, she edited a collection of essays entitled “Audiovisual Translation as Trans-Creation. A Collection of Essays” and, in 2018, she published her second monograph, on dubbese in AV products.
