Prof. Rossana Sebellin

Rossana Sebellin is associate professor in English literature at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Department of History, Humanities and Society. She received her PhD in 2007 at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo on bilingual writing and self-translation: the case of two short texts by Samuel Beckett. She has written three books on Samuel Beckett’s drama and several articles on self-translation, translation, contemporary theatre, and intertextuality. She is currently publishing the first Italian translation and critical edition of the anonymous 16th century play Thomas of Woodstock(forthcoming). She is part of national and international research groups on translation (METE), self-translation, Restauration theatre (IRGORD), and member of Argo directive board.
